The D-AIM Trials, Validation and Findings Final Report (D 6.2) including Data Integrator Use Case (D 7.3) describes experiences and findings from the design and validation activities of systems and services in the D-AIM trials, from the start in late 2006 to the end in late 2009.
The report encompasses the set-up and installation of the D-AIM system and equipment, including verification of functionality and finally validation of the addressed services. The set-up refers to technical components and developments such as the D-AIM server, Airport Mapping Databases , ground stations and software developments of the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) for the AIM (AIS and MET) data link applications.
The document also includes activities towards external stakeholders, in this case with focus on Data Integrators, being part of the second phase of the D-AIM trials. The Data Integrator use case (D-AIM Deliverable 7) is a SESAR Early Project deliverable in the context of the SESAR SWIM Thread (WP8 and WP14).
